Welcome to a new feature of the Knight's website, the weekly blog.

On this page we will try to keep you up to date with the weekly goings on within Tuxedo Knights. This page will differ from the news page in so much that it will feature more of the juicy titbits of the daily going's on throughout the week. We hope that it will reflect an honest report on some of our gigs and also give you a greater insight into who the Knigts really are.

So, seeing as how this is the first day of the new blog there is really nothing to report except that, one night last week we were enjoying one of our late post show coffee's in one of our haunts when Maggie, who is the better half of Rick Porter quite calmly informed us that we were going to be support act for Tony Christie when he comes to the island in November. We natrually went into mental overdrive and decided to stay for another coffee. we reserved total lunacy until confirmation had been given to us by our office. Since then all that we have been singing in our heads is Amarillo, Maria, Hey Las Vegas and Avenues and Alleyways.

Working with the Knights is a laugh a minute and I have to say that it is probably the best thing I have done in my career to date so keep checking back to find out whats new with the Knights. We plan to bring you the weekly blog every time there is something worth talking about, so keep visiting to see what happens next.

Stay Happy,

Eddie.

We have had a very interesting week. On Friday we began the long awaited process of recording our first album. As yet there is no title for the CD but we hope that it will be available to buy within the next few months. It will of course, be available at all of our gigs and also online on this site so keep your eye open for a new page on the naviagation bar that will take you to the shop.

We arrived at the studio at about mid-day and for once we seemed focused on the task ahead, we still had our usual fix of fun and laughter but the serious business of producing some worthwhile tracks was forefront in our minds. the tracks were mixed over the next few days and the initial results are more than promising. We are all excited about the prospect of a great album that we feel sure you will like, we already do.

Stay Happy,

Eddie.

Today we went into the studios of Oasis FM in the south of tenerife because they, in their infinate wisdom, decided to interview us in connection with the Tenerife entertainments awards, and I have to say they treated us fantastically well. Mel Faulkner did the interview and in all fairness she coped well with us three nutters. I am sure they did not expect anyone to disrupt the station like we did but all in all we had a great time and would like to thank the staff there for their time and patience with us. It probably helped that when we arrived we gave all of the ladies there one of our customary red roses, I think it kinda softened the blow of having three nutters in the building. We would also like to mention Roscoe who has kindly provided us with a copy of the interview . You can hear it by clicking here or on the news page.

Stay Happy,

Eddie
