TOM BELL, RICK PORTER, EDDIE HASTINGS

(Thomas Edward Bell) from the age of 4 years, at such an early age, convinced his family and friends by singing and dancing along side his twin sister that the entertainment business was to become his life.
He continued to “entertain” through his growing years… singing dancing and playing instruments.. infact attending school to tom was simply that! Period!
By an early age he was playing guitar and the drums and also playing with Magic! Which we will hear more about later in his career.. knowing this would widen his chances in the entertainment Business he continued and studied all, which proved invaluable to him.
Tom worked in and out of Studios recording songs and there meeting some of the top Artists of the 70s. His energetic performances and personality quickly registered him as someone people enjoyed being around. He was a DJ for a few years too and this gave him the chance also to dance which took him to achieve Disco Dancing Champion many years running. Also finding the time to perform as a Guitar Vocalist solo.
Tom moved on and the music scene changed, he still having the burning desire to let the audiences of today know the music of yesteryear Tom worked on …
Tom soon moved on to Butlins where he could learn more about the Business..He wore the coats of Red Coat, Greencoat, Entertainments Manager. Tom using all his talents with singing, playing guitar and also expanding in his magic. Entertainments Manager took him to Yugoslavia for a couple of years in which period he met his wife to be. Never doing anything in small doses.. Tom proposed to his wife after only 1 month and they were married a year later. (And may I mention still together after 18 years)..they then formed 17 years ago what is now a very established Illusion Show. His partner you will find in SPELLBOUND SHOW and together very soon finding themselves working on Cruise ships as Cruise Director and Assistant, plus performing their Act and Tom with his skills of vocals was enhanced with his Dancers.
They traveled all the world many times and enjoyed every minute of their fast life. After many years on the ships they decided to return to England.. However within weeks of their return they were off again to tour Ibiza, the following year took them to Greece and then Costa Brava to follow, with many television appearances inbetween. After their season in Costa Brava their good friend Franky beckoned them to come to Tenerife … and here we are!
Through these latter years Tom was performing more magic than singing and it was actually his Wife who missed hearing him sing. Unknown to her, Tom also wanted to revive that super sound of the 70s. He was determind to form a group and enjoy the great sounds once again.
One day by chance Tom bumps into Rick; a few words were exchanged and Tom and Rick were in the Studio already starting to mix tracks! Tom was still searching for the third member of the group, but always knew it had to be the guy with the size 11 feet “Eddie”… finally rehearsals started, the fun began (believe me.. fun!)… GLAMSLAM had begun…
Within a year of performing with the boys a new project had been conceived and was almost ready to work alongside GLAMSLAM, that new project was TUXEDO KNIGHTS and the rest, as they say, is History!!
